I was raised in cultures of old world artisans. A Danish heritage and a childhood spent in the Canary Islands and Africa have nurtured my creative passion for lovingly handcrafted treasures. Fibers of all kinds have always held my fascination.
Shop policies
This is the place to shop for unique, high quality items made from fibers that reflect my philosophy to use sustainable raw or repurposed materials from as natural a source as I can find. I buy most of my yarns and roving from local artisans and etsy sellers who hand-card, hand-dye and hand spin their own fibers...many even raise their own sheep, goats, or alpacas. If organic is available, I will often choose that option when purchasing any raw materials.
My own special blended handmade soap is made for sensitive skin. I use no articificial coloring or preservatives. My felted goat milk soaps use soap handmade by an amazing woman who uses milk from her own goats, with very gentle natural scents.
