My son's outfit was a hit at my sister's wedding! I love the quality of the material and craftsmanship. Can't wait for another excuse to dress my little man up or to loan it to a nephew for a big event! Thank you!!!

Great quality. Beautifully done! My god daughter looked absolutely perfect in her dress. Seller was also very helpful in tracking the dress and making sure it got to me in time.

About

An old barn got a new life...

Hi, and welcome to Engla- Charlotta! I'm Tiina, the person behind the scene of this shop. I wear many, many hats; I design all of my products, order fabrics and supplies (and play detective while doing so), I cut and I sew - every dress, suit, sash and flower is made by me. I organize and style all pictures, and to top it all of I
do my own bookkeeping. Phew, that's quite a collection of hats and loving every second!

The legal name of my business is Ateljé Rosenblad, but I've chosen to use the brand name Engla- Charlotta. The name originates from a relative who lived in the 19th century. Engla- Charlotta was a kind and wise woman, who used to sail the seven seas alongside her husband. I like to think that she can again travel around the world, when an item is sent to a new home, far, far away.

I decided to give an old stable a new life, creating the perfect surrounding to complement my self made products, in the beautiful Finnish archipelago, surrounded by woods, water and acres of farmland.

Currently my daughter, Amanda, is helping me manage my Etsy shop. She does all those small but oh so important things, such as writing item descriptions, keeps an eye on SEO and other tech work. This gives me more time to sew and especially more time for my wonderful customers.

TIPS&TRICKS
I've used a pettiskirt with almost every dress, and I do recommend one for additional fullnes.
The linen dresses and boys outfits will probably need ironing when arrived, they have after all traveled a long way.

Sizing details

I prefer to make each garment to the child's measurements for the best result. Measuring instructions is located in the picture gallery in each listing.
All items can be made using my standard sizes, however, I encourage measuring first for the best result.
