The lifetime of our cat toys depends entirely on the play-style of your feline. Some cats just like to bat around their toys and chase them, these cats will enjoy their toys for longer. On the other hand, some cats prefer to disembowel and consume their toys. The poor unfortunate toys that end up in the claws of these felines are forced to retire early. :P

As in guarantee their survival? Absolutely not. I use the best quality material I can, and the toys are machine stitched for added durability. Unfortunately, due the hunting instincts, the claws, the teeth, the urge to chase and destroy... I cannot guarantee the toys. That being said, if you are unhappy with a toy prior to releasing it to your feline, please let me know.

If it is something simple like changing the colour of a toy, I can usually do that for no added cost.

I do offer gift wrapping. I try to tailor the gift wrap to the individual order. If your order contains a birthday message, I will try to make it birthday themed. If it says Merry Christmas I will wrap it in Christmas paper -- if I have no idea what the occasion is, I will wrap it in paper and colours that don't have any particular theme associated with them.

Any toy that is ripped open should be thrown out immediately.

Felt Toys can get reeeeeeally fuzzy once they have been loved by a cat. While it is totally hysterical to watch a cat lick fuzzy cat toys, you can also take a pair of scissors and give the toy a little haircut -- it will make it look much nicer. Just don't cut the felt.

All cat toys should be used under supervision to ensure that the cat does not eat any of the felt, ribbons, bells, filler, etc.

Some cats would never dream of committing such a heinous crime, they just want to toss the toy around until it doesn't fight back anymore. Others will rip, tear, attack and otherwise attempt to murder the toy until it gives up all its secrets (and its stuffing). Furthermore, there are occasionally cats who have a mental disorder that causes them to believe that ribbons and string are, in fact, spaghetti. These cats should be watched very closely and cannot be trusted with anything that dangles. (Men, you have been warned.) :P

I am the first to admit that these toys are more expensive than the ones you will find in the supermarket or pet store. I base the cost on the amount of time that it takes me to make each toy. I cut, add details, sew, stuff and package every single toy myself and it takes more time than most people realize. I also only use the highest quality and freshest catnip.

You might be surprised what difference the quality of the catnip makes! I have had SO many people tell me that their cats have never cared about catnip and yet they love my toys! (Try it out! ;) )

Because the toys are handmade it also means that I can custom design a toy just for you, or make minor adjustments to my toy designs. Just contact me!

Etsy prefers it if we include exactly what mail-class we use to ship because then it will be able to offer customers delivery estimates based on the type of shipping. The problem with that right now (2020) is that the estimates are horribly off -- shipping times are up to three (sometimes more) times longer than usual.

While Canada Post clearly states that they can't guarantee ship times, my customers won't see that disclaimer. It is simply impossible to offer accurate ship times, so the best thing I can do is recommend that you make your purchases as early as humanly possible, and if you are concerned, upgrade to tracked shipping so you can watch your package travel.
