An Unexpected Adventure

We began Entwood Crafts in July of 2010. Everything started when I decided to start making wooden puzzles as gifts for friends and family. My wife Hazel soon joined in and found an undiscorved interest in woodworking. After a lot of encouragement from friends and family, we decided to start selling them at our local farmers market. Neither one of us expected anything major to come of our woodworking interest. After 4 years of making wooden creations as a small side business, we made the plunge in 2015 to try out Entwoodcrafts as a full time business. We have never looked back since. Being able to devote more time into our creations has truely allowed us to grow as artists. To this day, and all the rest to come, we will continue to learn, improve, and explore new ideas doing something that we both love to do!

I've been working with wood since the age of 10. I took a 4 year break from woodworking while I got my B. S. in Landscape Horticulture. It wasn't soon after that I felt the urge to start making things again and I've been making sawdust ever since.

Welcome to Entwood Crafts. We are a small, family run business that takes great pride and joy in our work. Our workshop is located in Supply, NC. Most of the items we make are cut on a scrollsaw. We specialize in making intarsia wall decor, magnets, ornaments, as well as puzzles. We also make other miscellaneous items here and there.

About 50% of all wood we use is reclaimed, salvaged, or re-purposed material from local cabinet makers, lumberyards, flooring companies, construction sites, our property, friends, and family. Most of our shipping materials are either recycled or reused goods. We re-purpose almost 100% of our waste wood and sawdust as fuel for heat in our home or as fuel for local wood fired pottery.

Nearly all of our work is naturally colored. We have recently made a few exceptions with impossible colors such as blue and green. We don't paint wood, we paint with wood. Using only natural colors can be a great challenge to get desired results but that extra effort is worth it.

***We encourage custom orders!!***

We have made things ranging from pencil holders, to knife and coin displays, to custom chocolate boxes. We are always adding and changing designs and welcome the creative input and requests from customers. If you want any design modified in any way or would like something completely new, just send us a message. You can also email us at entwoodcrafts [!at] gmail.com or find us on facebook.
