Epic Wares: An Epic Journey

Epic Wares is really just the latest - though longest lived - version of me trying to sell the things I like to make. Since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s all the way through to now, I've loved making things, particularly things people wear... and the biggest problem with that is there's only so many things you can make to use yourself and so many things you can give your friends before you hit a wall. So, I sold things!

I started selling on Etsy in 2010 after experiencing a rather difficult patch of mental health during a really bad time at my former career. For a while, my workshop was my dining room table and I tried all sorts of things before landing on greeting cards, stationery, and then eventually buttons. I now have a workshop in my home, where I can make a variety of fun things.

I especially enjoy making pronoun button and pride button designs, particularly customizable ones that allow people to display their exact identity to the world in a fun and creative way.

This is my lovely little terrier blend rescue doggie and our Chief Morale Officer. She makes sure I take enough cuddle breaks to not burn out, and keeps us on time for the mail drop, which just so happens to coincide with her dinner time.😏

Don't tell Molly she's just a Director. We're pretty sure any position higher would go right to her head! Molly overseas all our cardboard box needs and moonlights as our printer tech. When no one's looking, she also likes to eat all my tape. 🤣
