To offer products that give as much enjoyment to own as they did to create.

It won’t come as a surprise to you but Epoch Home is not currently my full-time career, day-to-day I plan and engineer infrastructure projects in the UK, however, prior to this I was a bricklayer and from bricklaying came my love of creating things with my hands. In the construction industry I learned to love working with concrete, from pads to footings and drainage holes to patio slabs – I enjoyed the strength and versatility of concrete.

Sadly, I was never much of a clay worker so it wasn’t until I learnt to 3D Print that I was able to start creating prototypes of my products. From this I started learning how to make moulds and could begin to start casting small concrete objects. When first starting out I made pots for myself and friends but it became apparent that there was a greater appetite for my creations. This has brought me to open my own Etsy store to satisfy my enjoyment to work with my hands and create special pieces for your special occasions.

Although there are a variety of options available to you, I believe I offer great value from designing an item that will last for 5 to 10 years after your purchase. I would be astounded to hear if it was not still in tip-top condition after that time and I create this timelessness by using my engineering and construction knowledge, hence the name Epoch Home.
Added to this your item is entirely unique, unlike other stores I design and mould everything in house, as you have probably noticed most people have very similar products as the generic products are available from many online stores. Whereas every Epoch Home product has been purposefully designed to be long lasting and of high quality.

Epoch Home has three entrenched beliefs:
- Production will always be handcrafted in the UK
- All items will be from sustainable sources where possible
- All items must be long lasting and high-quality

Frequently asked questions
Why are there slight imperfections on my product!?

As each item is handmade it will have slight differences from the next. Typically these will appear as slight air bubbles, sanded surfaces or small walls not transferring in the release stage.

Each item is sanded, dried and then sealed after casting, through this process there is a possibility of a slight imperfection or difference in one product to the next.

This is not something to be concerned about as it will not trouble the structural integrity of the item. Please note if you'd like a perfect item, I would recommend a machine pressed item available at most supermarkets and/or home stores.

My item arrvied damaged?

In the unlikely event your product has been damaged in transit we ask that you take some photos of the product to demonstrate the extent of the damage and send them to us as quickly as possible so we can assist you at the first opportunity. If you item has broken in transit we will replace your item.

Custom and Wholesale availability

I enjoy custom and wholesale orders and if you'd like to discuss this, please contact me directly: epochhome@outlook.com

Please note with custom orders the costs will factor in the designs, printing, casting and then production of your piece, for an individual item this is likely to be very expensive.

What is the difference between Cast Stone and Concrete?

Concrete is a construction compound that consists of sand, cement and aggregate in its most basic form. Examples of concrete date back to the Ancient Egyptians and concrete has been popular in modern construction and decor material for much of the modern era. Cast stone is largely concrete used for decorative purposes.

How long will it take to get my item?

With most items I have them pre-made and in stock, however on occasions I may have to make your item, in the summer this is typically 24 hours and in the winter this is around 48 hours.

I aim to ship with Royal Mail where possible, however for larger orders I may have to used DPD or DHL.
