Beautiful material and stitching. Going to have to have neckline altered, still a beautiful dress 🙏🏽✨

Shopping with ErickaLoveLeigh was a wonderful experience. She was communicative and quick with shipping. My items arrived in great condition, just as depicted! They came in an adorable stitched case and were well protected. ErickaLoveLeigh was great to work with and I will definitely be buying from her again!
lovely and sustainable handmade bowties
Hi there! My name is Ericka Leigh.
I make bowties by recycling clothes and giving them new life. Most of the clothes are from the depths of my closet, button up shirts I haven't worn in a while, and thrifted materials. I pay attention to designer, material and quality.
All items are made by me in my home.
I have a Masters degree in Sustainability so it is important to me to make the ties by recycling fabric. I think it's one small way I can save the world by not using virgin cotton. I upcycle and recycle just about everything and it made sense to carry it over to accessories. Plus the hunt to find great, unique fabric is so exciting!
My boyfriend wears a lot of bowties and my grandfather used to before he passed away. That's where the inspiration to make bowties comes from.
Please feel free to direct message me about shipping costs for a better price depending on location.
Thank you and enjoy!
We collaborate on acquiring vintage art and other items. He’s an antique dealer.
I believe in thrifting to find beautiful and unique items. Most of the bowties are made from clothes I've found at thrift stores. Some are made from fabric I've had for years and/or donated/thrifted fabric scraps. However, all bowties use secondhand material to reduce my environmental footprint by not using virgin cotton. All designs are limited edition (a button up shirt only gives you so much usable material) and made by me in my home studio.
I can make custom bowties from your favorite shirt that is ripped, stained, or that you've simply outgrown. I'm also available for weddings, uniforms, or other bulk custom orders.
I operate out of Florida and can ship anywhere in the world.
