Flowers born out of stone

I have always been interested in the concept and creation of objects. I have started making jewelry 4 years ago and between all these years I took a 3month seminar for pmc clay.

As an architect I am drawn to explore new forms and try to reshape them in a more abstract and in parallel concise manner.

The reason I first started working with clay is that I have always been amazed of seeing figures emerge out of raw materials. Especially when it comes to clay, it is a material, which encloses infinite capabilities that one is left to discover.

That is, more or less, how I started sculpting and creating elements that follow the patterns encountered in nature. Truth be told, nature has been throughout time one of the most powerful source of inspiration and widespread, as a result . If its forms are observed they can be described as magical since each and every one of them arise out of particular repeated norms, whose slight differences end up in countless variations.

My jewelries are inspired from nature and her's complexity and my architectural vision tries to comprehend and finally organize her in a minimalistic way.

One of my future dreams would be to see these reformulated-abstracted shaped flowers escape the cord and start climbing on walls.
