5 out of 5 starsI am so happy I decided to look for a calendar for 2023 on etsy because I am in love with this one! I love the creative idea for the calendar to tell Gandalf's story and I adore the artwork. The paper quality for both the calendar and postcards is high quality thick and sturdy paper that the colors show up very well on. Thank you much!

5 out of 5 starsThese are super cute. The bonus 2 were very nice and also makes me regret not getting the cats in classic cards since these are going my my reading nook with cat shelves. I highly recommend and might be buying more in the future.

Stories in Ink
My Etsy shop started with several large watercolor landscapes and a set of Tolkien cards scanned and printed in my parents' basement, on the family printer. It started as just a little idea, just a fun thing to do on the side of my part-time teaching job I'd just accepted on Whidbey Island.
Then it grew. I started digging into the Seattle-area geeky events, getting my Tolkien art out there, buying tables at conventions and gradually finding "my people."
My art is no longer strictly Tolkien based, but it remains closely centered on literature, books, and characters. I'm a reader and writer as well as an artist, and my favorite aspect of making art is trying to portray character and story on paper. I use primarily ink and watercolor, drawing my inspiration from Victorian illustrators and medieval illuminated manuscripts.
As, this year, I make the terrifying, exhilarating step of moving into art as my full-time job, I look back on the last eight or nine years of Etsy selling with deep gratitude to this platform and to my customers for starting me on this wonderful journey of art.
