Ethical, responsible, modern, feminine, simple and really, really pretty jewelry
I am a jewelry designer working and living in Seattle, Washington with my husband, two adorable children, and dog. I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and spent my college years in Colorado, graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Marketing.
Erin Jane Designs was born in 2006. Since then I haven't stopped learning and loving jewelry, metal, gemstones, metalsmith techniques, photography and all the other craziness that comes with running a one (super) woman business.
Each piece of jewelry I make is a little piece of art. While I’m forming, cutting, sawing, sanding, soldering, polishing and stone setting I'm thinking about who this little art piece is going to belong to. I think about who's neck, ear, finger or wrist it will light up and who's day it might make.
Using traditional and modern metalsmith techniques, the designs I create are always some wonderful combination of feminine, simple, fresh, modern, colorful and delicate.
My designs focus on ethically sourced natural gemstones and recycled precious metals.

Returns and exchange details
In stock items: If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your IN STOCK (Ready to Ship) item within 14 days of receiving it for exchange or credit only. Items must be in the exact condition as I sent them. Additional shipping charges will apply.
Custom made/sized rings and custom items, including personalized items: Unfortunately, these specially made items cannot be returned. Please contact me to see if there is anything we can do...
Payment
Washington residents will be charged local sales tax on all purchases (excluding shipping costs).
Shipping
Orders shipped via USPS first class mail within the US usually take 3-7 days to arrive.
International orders are shipped via USPS first class international air mail and can take 2-4 weeks to arrive. USPS first class international mail does not include tracking. If you would like to be able to track your package, I can send it Express Mail. Just convo me and I can give you a detailed quote...The buyer is responsible for any additional fees that may be charged at customs.
Please note that I cannot be responsible for any delays in delivery due to customs. Items shipped without insurance that that get lost in the mail are the responsibility of the buyer, and not me. Orders lost in the mail will not be refunded. The buyer is fully responsible for the risks of international shipping. I recommend upgrading your shipping to include insurance for orders under $100. Please just let me know if you would like to do that and I will arrange for it.

That said, I may on occasion be able to resize some of the already made rings in my shop. This would be done on a case by case basis for a fee which will also depend on the level of difficulty. Please contact me before you purchase if you require a different size.

CAN YOU RUSH MY ORDER?
Yes, I can! If you need an item by a specific date, please message me first to check on availability and I will do my best to accommodate.
CAN YOU RECYCLE MY OLD JEWELRY INTO A NEW RING?
Unfortunately, I can not melt down your old metal and use it for something new. While I do use recycled metals; I only purchase from certified refineries that come from previously mined sources. It is a long and extensive process to reconstitute the molecular structure of metal and make it usable again, and I am not able to do this myself. I recommend sending your old jewelry to a trusted refinery and get the trade in value! This way, you can use that money to purchase a new ring that you will love.
CAN YOU RE-SET A GEMSTONE OF MINE INTO SOMETHING NEW?
The short answer is that usually I can. The long answer is that it depends on what stone it is, how it is cut, how it is currently set and what you want to do with it. In this situation it is best to message me with photos of your item and your ideas for it! Then I will be able to accurately answer if I can help you or not.
I LOVE THIS PIECE OF JEWELRY, CAN YOU DO IT IN A DIFFERENT METAL?
Yes, I can! Of course the price will vary (sometimes a little - sometimes a lot) depending on what metal you would like, but send me a message and I can give an estimate on any piece.
WILL YOU HELP ME A DESIGN A ONE OF A KIND PIECE?
Of course! That is one of my absolute favorite things to do. If you are interested in a completely custom piece, you can send me a message to discuss details. Often times I have to special order metal or gems, so please expect the turnaround time to lengthen by a few weeks.
CAN YOU GIFT WRAP MY ORDER?
Every piece from Erin Jane Designs comes ready for gift giving! It will be packaged in a small wax bag and then placed in a white ring box. I do not include an invoice unless requested, so you do not need to worry about the recipient knowing the cost :)
