ERRESULLALUNA + Chuli Paquin live and work together since 2012. The first, born in Parma 1981, passionate about photography since he was a child, starts to dedicate himself immediately after completing his studies and makes his first exhibition in 2001 at Casina Biennale. Chuli Paquin, born in 1989 in Parma, after having studied graphic design at Politecnico di Milano, devoted herself to humanistic studies, obtaining first a degree in Modern Literature, then in Italian Studies at the University of Bologna. The first contact between the two takes place during the production of R.itratti series, in 2012, and after a series of collaborations, ERRESULLALUNA + Chuli Paquin decide to work together permanently, combining technical skills, iconographic and cultural research and critical studies. They are interested in mythological and classical themes, religious and non-religious origins of Italian and European culture, and all that concerns mankind in his conscious and unconscious dimension. Always starting from 2012, they have devised a new printing technique which, using an acid of their own invention, allows to capture the color and redistribute it with a brush. This is what mostly denotes their aesthetics, and is strongly linked to the need to ideally combine modern and digital tools with that past that they explore with photography. After having exhibited in some spaces of their city and having participated in group shows like Quadrilegio in Parma, and Paratissima in Turin, in April 2016 they inaugurated their first personal "Iconic Personæ" at B4 Gallery in Bologna, and in the same month they took part in the first edition of Parma 360 - Festival of Contemporary Creativity with Opus, at San Ludovico Gallery. The following year they participate with Galleria Façade at the Young International Artist Fair in Paris. In May 2017 a selection of their polaroids was exhibited at MamBo in Bologna, and at Gallerati Gallery in Rome.
