My name is Becky. I was born and raised in upstate New York but eventually Tennessee became my home. I met and married my husband of 30+ years here in Tennessee and we have raised our 4 sons together and now have 5 beautiful grandchildren.

As I reflect back on my life, I have come to appreciate that I was raised by loving hard working parents who are both artistic and creative. I have fond memories of my grandmother encouraging me in my drawing and painting. She was a talented artist who loved to draw and paint. She loved being a school teacher and enjoyed helping her students and grandchildren to learn about and pursue art. So with my grandmother and my mother's encouragement, my love for drawing and painting grew and developed through the years. I have always appreciated the great beauty of God's creation and I love to paint the animals and flowers that I see around me.

As my sons grew I would draw and paint with them and for them. I realized the importance of priceless family memories, those moments in time that we all want to cherish and remember. I painted the things that my children loved on keepsake memory boxes for them. They still have their keepsake boxes to this day and treasure them very much. Thus was born my desire to hand paint keepsake memory boxes for others as a perfect way to remember those precious moments in time. I also wanted to custom paint and personalize gift items for others such as recipe boxes, tea boxes, picture frames, tissue boxes and more.

I especially love weddings, as my own wedding over 30 years ago consisted of handmade items that I still have and treasure very much. My keepsake boxes, recipe boxes and other gift items are painted / wood burned by me, one at a time, and so no two are exactly alike. That is what makes my hand painted / wood burned gifts so precious and memorable, they are truly one of a kind. You can't go to a store and find them.
