Announcement
Thanks so much for visiting my shop, I hope you like the work.
I'm a professional illustrator living and working in rural Kent. My work often starts with observational black line drawings on paper drawn by hand, generally with a nod to detailed urban architecture, embracing an oh so slightly wobbly quality of line.
I am probably best known for drawing buildings from grand cityscapes to intimate studies of individual rural structures or large public murals, very accurate diagram instructions and children activity books. However, I also draw domestic objects and more organic ‘natural’ subjects such as animals, plants and people (even, occasionally, the Queen).
Recent clients include: Guild of Master Craftsmen Button Books, Stone water Development, A-space, National Gallery Company, Lark Books USA, Kyle Books, LK Bennett, High Tea of High Gate, Somerville Scarves, Anthropologie, The Southbank Centre's Shop, Nicole Farhi and numerous private commissions.

Shop policies
Thanks for visiting my Etsy shop. I really hope you like to look and maybe want to buy a piece of my work.
I've always drawn things on paper, light, ceramics, small pieces of furniture and when I was little, to my mum's disappointment, everything I could!
Drawing is the only thing I've ever felt a real affinity to. You know when there's that thing that never fails you, you go to in all times of your life, that helps you communicate who you are and what's right for you in the world, when you're desperately unhappy or filled with joy...
And for as long as I can remember I have wanted others to want to see my drawings and want them in their lives, having your work invited into someone else's home is the biggest compliment any designer/artist/maker can receive...
So here in this little space I'm doing that -- putting it out there and seeing if people take me up on it, and every time someone does it's wonderful...
No, really it's wonderful!!!
So some info points:
For china: All my drawings are done by me straight onto the items. I don't use transfers, I don't have others make my work. I want to be every part of the process so I choose the china, do the sketch, choose the pieces to work together then make it happen.
For Screen prints:
All screen prints are printed in the uk by a small independent screen printer for me, who i deal with directly. The small up cycled details are added by me.
For one off drawings:
I draw all the illustration myself general with ink on paper but each listing has its own material details.
For prints of the ink drawings:
These are printed in my studio on my inkjet printer, they have the same attributes as many gilded prints, (A high resolution, on good quality paper, with a good life span) but i'm not calling them such to avoid confusion. These prints are a great cost effective way to have a little piece of my work in your home.
My to commission listing show examples of other work i have done in a similar vein to the listing for other customers to give you an idea of what i can create for you, but please do read all in the info in the listing regarding what i will need to create your commission, i.e. photos and information to create a unique drawing just for you, as personal and individual as possible!
I welcome invitations to exhibit and work to commission. Just drop me a convo.
Yours
Esther

Payment
this means you can pay with a card, pay pal all the other ways etsy can take payment.
For larger orders, commissions or wholesale I can also accept bank transfers and I'm happy to provide my details for transfers to me on request after an order is placed, again all transfer fees must be covered by the buyer.
On items to commission the full amount must be paid before I will begin the work.
Shipping
Internationally and at home (UK) I use a standard royal mail first class as often as possible, but can make it signed for and special delivery and those options should be available when you select you delivery at check out.
the postage price includes packaging.
If you have any special postage requirements please convo me before the sale and i will let you know what I can do.
The postage costs don't cover any import taxes, so I'm afraid if your home country charges you taxes to receive the item from abroad those fees are your own to pay, (it sucks, i hate paying them too, but its the law and can be ever changing so i can't factor it in at my end and I'm unable to pay those for you.)
