Announcement   Custom bookplates: snazzy, creative, beautiful way to outfit your library. They make great cards, invites, stickers, or business promos, too. Hand-printed relief blocks on archival paper.

I also have designs I've carved that can be personalized with your name or message and printed to order. All personalized but non-custom sets will be printed in high-quality inks on fine self-stick archival papers ready to be put in place. See my Shop Policies for details.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Everything in my shop is made by hand, whether directly or hand-printed on a printing press. (Unless specified) All pieces are original works of art, but priced affordably for everyday use and appreciation.

Since the 14th century, a fine library has been distinguished by the application of a set of custom ex libris inside the front covers. Thanks for supporting the ongoing history of the bookplate!

These Hedgehog prints were absolutely gorgeous in person, very cool work, if you're on the fence you should go ahead and buy them, they are worth it! Shipping was super fast and easy too. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

All custom relief (wood or lino-cut) bookplates are printed in artist-quality inks by hand and as such might vary very slightly in appearance. All skill is aimed at making these plates as identical as possible. The paper is archival, UNGUMMED printmaking paper and I will provide easy instructions on pasting your plates in place.

Any custom book plate orders will be discussed in detail with the commissioner to assure that you get exactly what you want for your ex libris and that your plate is unique to your library!
*See item description for more info about this process.

Non-custom orders can be personalized with name or message but the image is as shown on the item descriptions! These are archival-quality prints on professional self-stick papers. Paper color is available in a few variations.

Payment
I take payment via PayPal or Money Order. The latter will arrive and clear before the item is shipped. Paypal is preferred, and will expedite your order.

Cancelling an order can only be done within the first 24 hours after it is placed. 48 at the most. After that, it'll be processed as a refund.
Shipping
All items are shipped USPS First Class or Priority Mail unless you request otherwise prior to payment. I can pretty easily upgrade or downgrade your shipping as long as you notify me before paying. I'll get you a quote for the new cost.

Oddly combined orders will require custom shipping prices, and likewise will need to be discussed beforehand. For example: a painting and a large number of bookplates so they won't easily fit in Priority Mail envelope.

Custom work and original art is always shipped Priority Mail, while inkjet prints are sent First Class. Can discuss FedEx/UPS for more expensive items, if desired.
Refunds and Exchanges
Contact me to discuss the problem. If an item was damaged in shipping, I can probably replace it. Things happen to packages in the mail sometimes-- I'd recommend getting shipping insurance on any high-end items!
Additional policies and FAQs
If you order custom work, and I get significantly far into the project and then you need to cancel the order, I will refund your commission less 30% for efforts thus far put into it if it's before final art has been started; less 50% if final sketches have been approved and final art begun; less 70% if final art is near completion in agreed-upon timeframe.
