We love Christmas and adoption and have combined the two.

From the suggestion of a friend, we made five different ornaments in 2010 to sell at a party. On a whim, I put them up on Facebook and offered them to friends to see if they wanted to order one.

In just a few days, over 250 ornaments had been ordered, and we got started. In our third year now, we design our ornaments and then have them laser cut out of Russian birch. Many hours are spent painting in our gameroom to bring you meaningful ornaments that speak to adoption. It really makes us sort of ridiculously happy when we get reviews from people that talk about how much the ornaments mean to them. Really...ridiculously happy.

We are passionate about adoption as we brought our daughter home from Ethiopia in 2008. We are in the process of starting a second and this shop is helping us get there! Finding meaningful ornaments for kids from other countries isn't easy, so we thought we would help out. Now we have branched into other Africa/Ethiopia items and things we enjoy for our daughter - currently lots of great vintage brooches remade into bobby pins. All of our products come with a card explaining that it benefits our adoption, so if you're giving them as gifts, your friends will know your gift is giving twice!

Most ornaments have a smaller charge, but a few are larger and more fragile and have a higher charge for shipping and packaging. Be sure to check out each auction listing. There are reduced fees for combining orders.

International Orders: Any customs charges are your responsibility. I will honestly fill out the forms and the rest is up to you.

Wall decor and other items have different charges. Be sure to check those listings for information. I try to ship as cheaply as possible without compromising the saftey of your items!

If you are local and know me personally, I can refund your shipping and we'll just pass the item off! Be sure to let me know if you want to do that by putting it in the "Notes to Seller" section.
Refunds and Exchanges
Let me know if your ornanament arrives damaged...we'll make it right.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most ornaments are made to order, although many are ready to ship. I try to mail within one week of order, but it is often much faster. Chalkboard items will ship within two weeks - it's takes several coats with a 24 hour drying period in between, so the time is much longer. Just know this: I work hard to get your orders out fast!
