My name is Paola and my workshop is called "Etranger"; in French it means "The Foreigner"
I was born and live in an area very closed to the french border where culture, language, history and traditions are a little italian and a little french, some foreign in Italy and some foreign in France.
I create and make fabric handbags and capes.
When I choose a fabric I look for the colours of our mountains, the blue and purple flowers, the green meadows, and the wealth and abundance of the baroque art and mansions as well.
My home-land has two souls: The simplicity of the mountains and the splendour of the royal mansions: both live in our handycraft tradition.
