About

Hi. My name is Annie. I'm addicted to fiber.

Etsybtsy began as an eclectic mix of farm-related items. I create several products and have sold a variety of them in this shop, including soap, textiles and seeds. Over time, my fiber addiction grew and my knitting hobby turned into an obsession. It wasn't long before I was spinning my own yarn. Everything you see in my shop, I use myself, so it was only natural to share what I enjoy with others.

One of my favorite aspects of creating yarn is starting with the raw product, straight from the sheep. If possible, I like to source my fleece from local flocks, especially if I can be present on shearing day. I love getting to know the animals that provide me with their wool. It makes creating a finished product much more personal.

My background is in fine jewelry and I am a guild gemologist by trade. Having worked with jewelers tools, making stitch markers has been a natural progression. My boyfriend of many years is a horse farrier and blacksmith, so I also use his equipment for hand forging and hammering many of the supplies that I offer. During the day, he makes horseshoes on his anvil and forge and at night, I use those tools to make goodies for you to enjoy.

Payment
I accept Paypal as well as credit cards directly through Etsy. Other forms of payment may be an option with custom orders. If you would like to discuss alternate methods of payment, please message me prior to making a purchase.
Shipping
During warmer weather - I ship within 3 business days of payment. During the colder weather, I ship between 3-7 business days of payment based on road conditions. We live in the mountains of NY and our roadways can be iffy. Any specific shipping requests need to be discussed before the item is purchased. If you need something sooner, please let me know and I'll try my best to make that happen! If faster shipping is requested, I will adjust the shipping prices accordingly.

I package my items to protect them, generally with tissue (and/or bubble wrap if necessary.)

If you would like to purchase insurance or delivery confirmation on your order, please let me know prior to purchase and I will adjust your shipping costs. I will automatically pay for delivery confirmation and insurance on purchases of $50 or greater (before shipping fees).

For international purchases, the buyer is responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import charges that are levied at the time of delivery. To save on shipping, I am sending all international shipments as First Class Mail with the USPS. If you would like to pay for faster shipping, please let me know prior to purchase and I will adjust those fees for you. As a result of international shipping restrictions, there may be no delivery tracking or confirmation available once your item leaves the United States. I can not guarantee the date of arrival for your package once it is mailed. Please keep this in mind if you are ordering something for a gift or for time sensitive purposes.

You are responsible for knowing what items can be legally purchased and imported into your country.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase before sending an item back to me. Returns are allowed within 7 days of delivery receipt unless otherwise specified in the particular items' description. Some items are not returnable or exchangable. Please read each items' description thoroughly prior to purchase.

The item must be in new, saleable condition with absolutely no sign of damage, wear or odor. I try my best to be as honest with product descriptions as possible. Due to variations in computer monitors, color on screen may vary. I would like you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for whatever reason you are not, please contact me and I'll be glad to discuss your concern. If returned, I will not refund shipping charges. Please note that on seed orders, your growing technique may affect the way the seeds germinate or flourish. I can not guarantee the growability of your seeds based on things that are out of my control. If you need any assistance or further growing directions, please let me know!

Due to the nature of soap and seeds, these items are not eligible for a refund.

Custom orders are also not eligible for a refund.

If you are making a purchase of a custom item, please read the item description thoroughly prior to purchase. Once you make a custom order, I will need to contact you in order to arrange the particulars of the item before I create it. Please be available to me by either ETSY convo or email. If you prefer one method of contact over the other, please let me know in "notes to seller" at the time of purchase. If you agree to a custom order, please be responsive in a timely manner to any questions I may have. Any delay on your part may cause the item ship date to extend beyond what was originally agreed upon. The more details you give me - the better! :)
