Announcement   All products are created using wet felting and needle felting technique from pure sheep wool in Nepal. Paper Products are Handmade. Everything is made in Nepal in a pet and smoke free environment and free of chemical dyes.

Felt: Felt is a non-woven fabric made using natural fibres, water, soap and agitation to form a dense fabric of permanently interlocking fibres. Felting is a process that takes a lot of work to present the same quality consistently.

Lokta Handmade Paper: I felt in love with this paper since my childhood for it's texture/durability and history. When I was a teenager, I was so passionate to learn to make these papers and I end up taking 3 months course to make handmade nepalese Lokta paper in traditional way and Japanese way. Lokta Paper is made from the inner bark of a wild shrubs locally known as "Lokta" or Daphne Papyracea which is found at altitude of 6500 feet to 9500 feet in Nepal. The long fibrous is prized for its rough attractive texture, its durability, strength and its resistance to insects.

Since these are made in Nepal, we are not taking any customizing orders.

Thanks for visiting my shop.

Yes, they were very nice, exactly as advertised. The seller was very helpful and even shipped twice at no charge to me when, for an unknown reason, the delivery service failed the first time.

About

Handmade Felt And Paper Products

I am stay home mom with 2 lovely daughters. I was born in Nepal and now living in Toronto, Canada. My products are made in Nepal.

Felt : I was in love with felt not only because of the vibrant eye catching colors but also because it has a history of being the oldest textile known to man.
Wet felting: It is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woollen fibres.
Needle felting: It is the process of interlocking wool fibres by stabbing it with a barbed needle.

Lokta Paper : I felt in love with this paper since my childhood for it's texture/durability and history. Lokta paper is handmade from the inner bark of the bush called Daphne papyracea . Popular as the most exquisite and versatile papers, Lokta handmade paper has four deckled edges and is a very strong fiber.
Lokta Paper is unique in many ways. It can be preserved for very long period of time. The papers made from Lokta are non-perishable in the water, free from germs and highly resistant to insects like silverfish, paper crawlers etc.
