I take vintage very seriously! That being said, collecting should be super fun, rewarding, thoughtful, & impulsive. If you'd like to make a purchase, please read through my policies so we can get it out of the way and have a good time shopping!

Vintage Condition:
eveModern works hard to assess total condition of every piece. Items are in Mint to Good vintage condition (used) with wear consistent with age.

Basically I will indicate any flaws that I find within the listing so you know what you are buying! I will also photograph the piece well including most faults. Some faults may not show up in a photograph, but will be indicated in writing on the listing.

I stand behind my merchandise. I will accept returns (please see return policy) in the event that customer feels item's condition was mis-represented in the listing.

I accept Paypal & Direct Payment with Etsy, including Etsy Gift Cards. Payment must be made at time of purchase unless arrangements have been made ahead of time to put a "Reserve" on an item. Please convo with me to do this. Cancellations of "Reserve" will be automatically made if payment is not received within 48 hours of reserving the item(s) unless longer "Reserve" has been arranged ahead of time.

Please remember, I cannot control when the USPS delivers. Shipping time is based on USPS published shipping estimates.

eveMODERN ships 2 days after payment is received. I pride myself on fast ship out, but weekends & holidays may delay this.

Shipping costs are as quoted in listing. If shipping is over, I will cover cost.

NOTE: USPS EXPRESS Upgrade, order will shipped same day for orders received by 3 PM Pacific Time on a business day! Please convo with me if you would like to pay additional for USPS Express Mail, especially around the holidays.

To keep my shipping quotes reasonable, I try and ship the most economical way for the customer. I usually ship USPS. Since my items are small and light, all packages will be shipped USPS First Class Mail unless prior arrangements have been made.

I am always happy to give custom shipping quotes, please convo me with any questions!

All items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation. Number will be emailed to at time shipping label is printed (Direct Purchase through Etsy) OR you after item has been shipped (same day confirmation).

Most items are quoted for USPS First Class Shipping with Insurance, Delivery Confirmation & Signature Confirmation (items $50 or more).

I ship a lot of fragile items and pack extremely carefully. I do my best to recycle packing material, but place importance on protecting what is being shipped.

HI & AK: Please convo me BEFORE purchase. Your shipping will be higher than price on listing. Items to AK & HI will only be shipped USPS Priority and be quoted as such.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I only have cost on my listings for US, but will be happy to custom quote for other countries. Most items in this shop will need to be sent USPS INTERNATIONAL First Class Mail and will be quoted as such. Items over $50 will automatically be shipped REGISTERED MAIL, and price will be quoted as such, no exceptions!

Some countries may be prohibitive to ship to and will not be quoted for shipping, at the discretion of eveMODERN. I will convo back in any case. Item will be listed as MERCHANDISE on customs forms and full amount will be listed. It is up to the buyer to handle any and all customs charges, NO EXCEPTIONS.

All shipping quoted is for USPS First Class Mail, 2-5 days.

Shipping upgrade for USPS Express Mail, US Lower 48 States ONLY, is recommended after December 19, 2012 and UNTIL December 22, 2012. After December 22st, item will not reach buyer in time even with Express Mail upgrade.

PLEASE NOTE: Upgrade will not be refunded in the event that USPS does not deliver in time for Christmas. eveMODERN will ship within dates listed on the shop.

Refunds and Exchanges
Return/Refund Policy:
a) Customer must convo (contact) with eveMODERN within 48 hours of receiving your item(s) with a detailed reason why you want to return the item(s). In general, returns will be accepted for claim that eveMODERN mis-represented the condition in the listing. Any other reason will be settled on a case by case basis.

b) Customer must carefully re-pack item in the original packaging.

c) Customer has to pay return shipping.

d) Item(s) must be received by eveMODERN within 7-10 business days of customer first receiving the item(s).

e) eveMODERN will refund original selling amount in full, minus original ACTUAL (not quoted) shipping cost, with Paypal within 5 business days of receiving the item(s) back.

f) eveMODERN has the right to refuse returns from any customer at any time if above conditions are not met.

Please note: I do not give partial refunds or discounts if there is a claim of mis- represented condition, or claim of damage. Item must be returned with above condition to receive refund unless damage in shipping has occurred.

Damaged items, uninsured: Please convo eveMODERN within 48 hours of receiving damaged item(s) to reach a resolution. Damage must be clearly documented with photo(s) to receive refund.

Theft upon delivery: Please note that while theft of packages is unusual, it can happen after delivery to an address. eveMODERN accepts no liability for packages that are stolen after that package has been shipped. I am very careful to only deliver directly to the Post Office, UPS, or Fed Ex counter (no drop box). Most items will need to be signed for- Signature Confirmation (US) or REGISTERED MAIL (Interntl'). It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to accept any package sent from eveMODERN.

Insured items: Claim must be filed with USPS, UPS or Fed Ex if item was insured. eveMODERN will help with any documentation needed to file such claim.
