Bits of this and that

I am eclectic by nature.

I’m a writer, a painter, a jewelry artist, and an over-achieving workaholic. I make stuff when the inspiration hits me. Sometimes this is a hard slap upside the head, and sometimes all it takes is a little tap on the shoulder.

I'm inspired by all sorts of things. The cheerful, the silly, the serene, the dark and deadly awe. These little idea nuggets tend to bombard me all at once.

Because of this, I tend to have a lot of projects going on at once and that’s exactly how I like to work.

So once upon a teenaged version of myself, I began to make clothes and jewelry for my own wardrobe. The bland styles in shops I could afford just weren't going to do. I needed something more me. So I made them.

Or, I should say, being a lazy-ass seamstress I TRIED to make them and had considerable more success working with chains and stones than I did with thread and fabric.

I got distracted by making other, different things after a while. I wrote books, painted pictures, and redefined myself and my art half a dozen times. I thought about what to do with my life. I was interested in too many things; arts, crafts, literature, psychology, criminology, sciences, music...

Eventually (The afternoon of June 21st, 2012, at approximately 1:48PM during my lunch hour at work, whilst enjoying a superb and greatly sought piece of solitude, to be quite precise) I came to the conclusion that I had no good reason to not do everything.

Sure, I might become overwhelmed and fall flat on my face, but this is just a reason, not a good one. The chance of success and the chance of (oh, dare I say!) happiness far outweighed that.

And so, dear reader and potential (hopeful!) customer, know that this is where your products will come from: a multifaceted and multifarious sort of character who simply cannot and will not make up her mind to concentrate on one, single thing for the rest of her creative life.

Ever the idealist, she prefers to do what she can across the scope of every-damn-thing and hope for the best.

I accept credit cards, debit cards, Etsy gift cards, & other international payment methods where available through Etsy. I accept PayPal & credit card payments via PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use it.

If you have difficulty with payment after having your heart set on an item, don't hesitate to contact me.

If I have not received the payment after 72 hours, however, I will have to cancel the sale and re-enlist the item.

I will be happy to reserve an item for you with payment for up to one week.

International buyers please be aware that you may incur a customs fee from your home country. Make sure you research those and are aware before you buy. These fees are not included in my listing or shipping prices and are your responsibility.
Please note I will only ship your item after I have received full (listing price and shipping price) payment for it.

I will ship jewelry by Canada Post (Ground or Air Mail) within three business days after receiving payment.

If you would prefer a faster shipping method (or need your order to arrive before a particular date) at an additional charge, feel free to contact me under 'notes to seller' during checkout or as a convo as soon as possible after placing your order - if I am at home, your item will likely be packaged minutes after I receive the order whether or not I can ship that day (eg. weekends), and changes to shipping may not be possible.

For international orders, packages delayed or held by customs are beyond my control. If you feel your order has not arrived in a timely manner, the best thing to do is to contact your local post office and see if the package is being held.

Any relevant fees, duties, and taxes on an item sold internationally are the buyer's responsibility to pay.

Please be aware I will only ship to the address provided during checkout.
Refunds and Exchanges
If a cancellation is requested before your item has been shipped I will give a full refund.

If you are unhappy with your purchase after receiving it we can arrange a refund and/or return if you contact me within seven days of receiving your item.

Return shipping is your responsibility unless we otherwise agree.

I will refund the order within 24 hours after receiving back the undamaged (except for returns on the basis of damages incurred during shipping) item.
Additional policies and FAQs
I, Eve Kuusk, retain the copyright of all my work and designs.

Please make sure you know your ring size before ordering. You can usually be measured in any jewellery store, just ask. It is your responsibility to be certain the item will fit before you purchase.
Not all items are resizable -- if you would like an adjustment on the ring, please contact me to check before you purchase and I will add an extra sizing cost to the total price of the item.
If you purchase & receive a ring that does not fit (and it is possible to be resized), the cost of shipping the item both ways as well as the cost of the resizing is the buyer's responsibility. I strongly encourage you to have yourself sized before purchasing. If you purchase a ring internationally and discover that it does not fit, it is often easier to go to a local jeweller to have it resized rather than shipping it back and forth.
Because many of my rings include unusual shank shapes, it is often better to make an unlisted size as a custom order rather than resize an existing piece. Please contact me if you see a ring in my shop you would like, but are uncertain as to whether it will fit.
