This Etsy shop is a dream come true! I am a creative at heart who started attending craft classes at the Rag Shop (old version of Joann Fabrics) when I was 10 years old and I even had my first job there. I attended oil painting classes when I was 12 and continued on this track in high school. I loved creating so much that I received degrees in Interior Design and Home Product Development from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology. Soon after graduating I was fortunate to work for a home textiles company as a product developer/designer.

Like many others, life took an unexpected turn and I was in the financial field for 12 years. However, I could never leave design behind! I started using the holidays as a creative outlet by changing the theme of my Christmas tree and wreath every year and even received a certification in Wedding Planning from The Bridal Society. Friends and family have always loved my attention to detail and soon started asking for help. I assisted them with design tips and decorating their trees but because of work and family obligations I was unable to contribute as much as I would have loved to.

I realized that the best way for me to continue to help others and have a creative release for myself was to start Event Craft Studio! I am now able to create beautiful wreaths on a regular basis. I recently left my full-time corporate role so that I am able to focus on my creative outlets and meet customers’ seasonal needs. I am also able to be home with my two kids!
