Unfortunately the package containing this item was taken from my porch after the postman delivered it there. I'm sure it was lovely.

About

Never give up, when life pushes you down you have to find a way to get back up!

I started my shop by accident lol. I really loved to crochet with hand spun yarns & my curiosity was peaked. I started wondering about how the yarn was made so I bought some beautiful hand dyed locks to play with. I quickly realized I would need some hand carders. That led to many peaceful enjoyable hours of carding and then eventually buying a drum carder. My friends were super supportive and kept raving about my batts and wanting to buy them. I reluctantly put them into the shop and I was so surprised when they sold!

The yarns started out coming from sweaters that I could take apart from thrift stores. At first I dyed them with Kool-aid. I got some cool colors but I worried about how long the color would stay. I decided that I should invest in some real dyes instead to be more professional. I also realized that buying my fiber from other people & my yarns in sweater form would not really work for the actually going into business. So I got a few wholesale accounts, my federal tax id # and now you know the story of my life!

Welcome to my shop. Please look around and feel free to ask questions or make comments. I always appreciate knowing what I can do to help serve you better. I appreciate the help. Please be aware that I do have a cat that sometimes decides to quality check my wools (even though I would prefer he did not, he seems to have the ability to walk through walls). If you have a severe cat allergy it may be best to purchase from someone else.

I hand dye most everything in the shop myself. I do my best to rinse the excess dyes out but sometimes there will still be some dye that will come out in the first few washes.

Also I use both commercially produced rovings, and also fleece from farms. Though I do my best there may be small amounts of VM that should fall out through spinning. Sometimes fibers may contain lanolin. I will do my best to describe all items in my shop to the best of my abilities. Please ask any questions you may have before purchasing.
