Last winter one of my favorite pastimes was sewing sets of cloth napkins. When face masks became a reality of daily life, floral fabrics intended for a sunny summer napkin collection took on a new destiny.

Very soon after launching the floral masks, there were requests for a men's collection. I quickly began sewing what could best be described as Business Casual face masks, in classic solids and prints. Next came masks with leopard print, boho designs, and my own tie dyes - all beautiful and timeless trends! I also realized that face masks need storage, so I started sewing matching drawstring bags which can carry a clean or dirty mask and are machine washable as well.

Sometimes a face mask is necessary, other times a versatile bandana or scarf will do. I began dyeing cotton bandanas in exquisite colors with gorgeous techniques. Wear one of these bandanas around your neck when you’re distanced, then simply pull over your face when you enter a public space.
