Love this pattern so far! I am a fairly new beginner and the pattern plus videos are excellent! Using this for a temperature blanket. Will post an update when it’s done in a year ;)

Fun pattern! I'm pretty new to crochet, so it took me a bit to figure some of the things out. All in all, though, once you get the hang out it it's an easy pattern to follow, and it turns out nice!

This pattern is absolutely beautiful, I haven't started making it yet, but it's definately next in line. The pattern is well written, with links to the less well-known techniques, it looks like it will be quite straight forward and easy to follow. My only gripe, and it is a minor one, is I prefer patterns that give you a stitch count with each row, so you can make sure you haven't made a mistake before you've gone too far and have heaps to frog.

It’s okay. I apparently did not look closely enough at the photos so was disappointed that the scales were worked in the round. What I saw was the scales at an angle/staggered so there were more scales toward the thumb and less towards the little finger side. Would the designer give suggestions on how to do that? On round 1 for thumb, it say 3dc in middle of next scale. Is that correct. It really makes a gap and stretch’s the Ch 2 stitch. Thank you
