Ganhei da minha MAMÃE.
I got it from my MAMA.
Proud of my Armenian heritage and raised in Aleppo, Syria, I grew up in a hardworking and talented family. Although my parents did not have any formal degrees, my father was a master diesel mechanic, and my mother, a gifted seamstress who crafted her unique patterns and took concepts from ideas to wearable garments.
Today, I reside in the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, though my current path wasn't a conscious choice but rather a calling. I initially pursued economics, specializing in banking and accounting in my home country. I had 10 years of experience before relocating to the United States upon marriage, where I made the decision to stay at home and raise my children, guided by the belief that, "The world will have many masters, but my children will have only one mother."
My journey into the world of creativity began when I started experimenting with a CRICUT vinyl cutting machine during my children's nap times. As I saw various cute baby products with charming English writings, I wondered why we couldn't have similar items in Armenian, with our beautiful script. This spark of curiosity led me to this creative hobby/business.
In October 2017, I bought my first embroidery machine, which became my way for artistic expression. I fell in love with it because it knows no boundaries, allowing me to craft anything and everything. Therefore, the name of my shop, "EVERYTHING HYE" was born from my desire to embroider Armenian (HYE) letters on all kinds of items.
My creative inspiration is deeply rooted in my mother, Seta. As the lyrics of a song aptly put it, "If you like the way I create, the way I make, everything good in me; I got it from my MAMA."
