artist
As a little girl, I always drew everything all the time. Everybody always said I was going to grow up to be an artist. I didn't like that. I always heard that artists were broke, and I liked accessories enough to know that shoes are expensive. But, I found that being an artist wasn't a choice, and indeed, I grew up to become a professional artist. I started painting for my own walls. Not able to afford original art, or to get prints mounted, I decided to make it myself. A friend came over one day and asked If I would like to show my paintings. And so started my career as a painter. In order to become a fully self sufficient Artist, I realized I had to learn computer art and graphic design as well, which is just as rewarding in different ways.
I am lucky enough to have a finished basement in my home big enough to hold all my supplies and canvas. No more painting in my bedroom, or living room!
Here are some pictures of my work and work space. I included my fair booth as well.
