Your wine racks are stunning. The copper is so much more beautiful in real life. I love it. Thank you so much. I know where I'm doing some holiday shopping :)!

I gave this to a friend of mine that LOVES color. She has everything in the world so it felt amazing when she opened her gift and had never seen anything like it. It was very cool. MUCHOS GRACIOUS!

About

Moi? An Artist? Really?

In 2006 I had a large office with very empty walls. I really wanted to have something of rather large scale but couldn't find anything I could afford.

I had gone to a friend of mines and she had this large canvas hanging and I had asked her, "where did you get that from"? She told me she made it. I was impressed. I wanted to give it a whirl!

I had always been creative but in more of a design sense. Friends would always come to me and ask how they could decorate this or decorate that. I never thought in a million years I knew how to paint.

Well, I painted 2 rather large canvases and I hung them in my office. They were (in my mind) only for my liking. However, I had someone come in one day and ask about my art. He owned a smalled gallery in SF ( I lived there at the time). I was super embarrassed but told him my story. He asked me to hang and I had my first solo show with him. He gave me the courage that I needed.

When I moved to Austin in 08' I wanted out of the mortgage industry. Faith would have it that a designer had heard about my art and I thought to myself....why not...JUST DO IT! I haven't looked back since. I've been selling my art professionally now for almost 4 years.

I was in the mortgage industry for years. When I moved back from SF in 08 I went head first into my arts and I haven't looked back. It's the most amazing feeling to be able to pay my rent by doing something I truly love from the bottom of my soul!
