About

The addiction that is clay.

The first time I came down to North Carolina my friend took me to visit a place called Seagrove which is a very old town started by potters after they found natural clay deposits there. What I saw was amazing.

Now I've always liked making things. I've been making jewelry for years and have a jewelry etsy shop but it wasn't until I finally moved down to NC that I got addicted to clay. Ends up they have city run art centers with amazing studios. I took a few classes and that was it. I found a new passion.

I am basically a wheel thrower with some hand building thrown in. I love throwing down a hunk of clay and creating something beautiful even if the final result does not match what I originally envisioned. And doing pottery is always a surprise as you never know what the end result until that kiln is opened up. That is part of what makes it so interesting and I hope to continue making pottery for many years to come.

I've always liked making things but it wasn't until I moved down to North Carolina and was introduced to the amazing potteries in Seagrove that I became interested in this art form. Now, many years and much learning & practice later, here I am.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine orders to save on shipping?

It all depends on the pieces. There are some items which need to be packed and shipped on its own while others can be packed in the same box. Convo me and I will let you know what can and can't be combined.

What do I do if my item was damaged?

Immediately take pictures and send them to me and save the box as all that will be needed to file a claim with USPS. Only once that is done will I issue a refund.

Custom and personalized orders

I am not a production potter with my own studio. So while I can do custom orders, it can possibly take up to 2 months as I work out of a public studio.
