Returns and exchange details
Please keep in mind that all handmade or vintage items will not be "new/machined perfect" like they would be from a chain retail store. Many of my handmade items are stitched BY HAND with a needle and thread, so some variation will occur. I list as many different measurements for each item as I can think of. I will not take back items that don't fit you once you've received them. Always go by the measurements and not by the listed sizes because older clothes are sized differently than modern clothes!!!!!!!
If you are picking up locally, I will accept cash.
Additional policies and FAQs
PATTERNS: I hand check all patterns to ensure that they are complete. If the pattern has already been cut I make sure that each piece is still usable. Sometimes patterns have been shortened by previous owners, if this has happened I make sure that the removed lengths are included in the envelope as well.
VINTAGE: Vintage clothing and accessories are sometimes sized VERY differently than their modern counterparts. I list the size of the garment as it is on the tags; DO NOT purchase an item based on this size unless you KNOW what your size would have been at the time the garment was made! I list as many measurement options for each item as I can think of, so PLEASE use these to ensure a correct fit.
CONDITION: I try not to sell anything that is in less than great condition. If there are any issues with an item that I was able to find, I list them in the item description and I try to include a good photo of the damaged area as well. I inspect each item closely, but there are always things that will show up in different lighting situations that I was unable to see while going over the piece. I spot clean or restore any small issues with the pieces when I get them home, but I do not dry clean, machine wash or undertake massive restorations of most items. If I come across something absolutely fabulous, but it requires dry cleaning, I note that in my listing.
Pattern Envelope Grades
//No Envelope: Came with no paper envelope or a plastic bag as the envelope. If it is a pattern that came in a paper envelope and there isn't one, I won't sell it, so that shouldn't be an issue.
//Mint: Has no creases, scuffing, yellowing, tears etc. Is bright white and looks brand new. Very rare, don't come across this much with vintage patterns, so you probably won't see it in my listings.
//Very Good: Has very minimal creasing, no yellowing, very low storage scuffing, no tears at all.
//Good: Has creasing on corners and edges, very light yellowing, minimal storage scuffing, tears less than .25" along opening only.
//Acceptable: Has creasing, yellowing, storage scuffing, tears to edges less than 1", or the flap is missing.
//Battered: Heavy creasing, yellowing, lots of scuffing, tears larger than 1", possibly taped.
//Very Battered: Has large rips or sections missing, taped, very yellowed, foxed, stained, or crumpled.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

ACCESS. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
CHANGE, RESTRICT, DELETE. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
OBJECT. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
COMPLAIN. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
