In the fall of 2019 my wife, Liz, turned to me and said "You are going to build me some veggie beds" so I turned to her and said "No Way" but she persisted until she got her way (she used unfair persuasion methods). At this point I had absolutely no power tools at all, not even clamps, so I went to Home Depot and got my first Chop Saw. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I put together the first veggie bed but it wasn't absolutely, exactly, perfect so it got disassembled. I assembled and disassembled that first veggie bed about 10 times until my wife came into the backyard and said "It's good enough!!" That is when I moved on to building the second and third veggie bed. And that is when I realized that I like this woodworking thing.
Ever since that day I would get statements like "Can you build this?". This is where my ego started to kick in to say "Of course I can!!" which justified more and more trips to Home Depot. Now my garage is completely dedicated to building stuff
