Faerie Glass is modern, yet whimsical handcrafted stained glass jewelry and accessories by artist Maria Burd. Each unique piece is inspired by the magic of the natural world, its vibrant colors, beautiful patterns, and its mysteries. Faerie Glass items are created using the traditional copper foil method for making wearable stained glass art. Due to the subtle variations in glass, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Artist Maria Burd began Faerie Glass in 2008. With no previous stained glass experience, she took on the challenge of learning the traditional methods of creating stained glass art through books, tutorials and a lot of practice. Starting with basic glass pendants, Maria developed the unique style Faerie Glass is known for today; bright colors, swirling patterns, and fun silver wire spiral accents. Maria expanded the collection to also include simple french hook earwire-style earrings and original stained glass rings with sterling silver wire bands. More recently, Maria has added hair accessories and items for men to Faerie Glass, both of which have become popular sellers. Stained glass barrettes come in a variety of sizes, the smaller sizes being sold in pairs. The men's accessories feature both stained glass cuff link pairs and tie clips, some of which are available as matching sets. Faerie Glass continues to evolve as artist Maria Burd experiments with different types of glass, new designs and techniques.
