I've been drawing ever since I can remember. While other children were outside playing, I'd be inside doodling away - creating new imaginary friends with just a ballpoint pen and a lined pad of paper. I focused on my art in earnest during high school, often creating pencil drawings of some of my favorite musical performers and actors. But somehow through the years I lost my creative path. Several years ago, I rediscovered my love of art after having let it go for many years. I immersed myself in the online art community, diving in deep to refresh my skills, breath new life into my art, and explore new techniques. It is great to feel whole again through art.

My art - which primarily features soulful women and animals - is inspired by nature, magic, myth, and whimsy. Woodland creatures scampering in the woods...butterflies dancing on flowers...leaves floating silently through the air...the sun shining bright in the sky and the stars glowing in the night - all of this and more influence my art.

I specialize in mixed media - combining acrylics, colored pencils, watercolor crayons, collage elements, inspirational and meaningful quotes and poems, and other mediums - into one-of-a-kind art pieces created directly from my heart which I hope speaks directly to yours.
