Returns and exchanges
Custom works(i.e. commissioned works) cannot be returned and cannot be exchanged, and are therefore sold as-is.

All exchanges and returns must be made within 7 business days of receipt of the item.

All other items are returnable in the original packaging, in original condition, under the following conditions: (a) Any item returned will be at the expense of the buyer, there will not be a refund on shipping unless (b) If the return is being made because of a mistake on my part, I will cover the shipping both ways, but the buyer must provide an image and/or evidence of the mistake.

Exchanges may be made, but only for items of value less than or equal to the original items value.

I cannot be held responsible for shipping damages or loss. It is the buyers responsibility to insure the item properly with the shipping company. Refunds will not be made for shipping damages.
Payment
Any Order cancellations must be made before item is shipped. No refund will be issued once item is shipped.
Shipping
I ship via USPS at the cheapest rate. If you would like insurance or confirmation, please state this in the comments on the order and I will invoice you through PayPal (if you pay that way).

If the work is too large, I will consider shipping via Greyhound or freight, but only if necessary. All items must be insured by the buyer, failure to elect insurance is solely the buyer's responsibility. I cannot be held responsible for shipping damage(s) or loss(es).

However, if shipping damage does occur, please contact me. I will do what is possible to rectify the situation (within reason).

I try to have all items shipped within two-three weeks of the order being placed, but this time may fluctuate as all items are hand made and made to order.

Care instructions

Caring for your leather hair clips:

If the adhesive becomes loose, you can carefully remove the clip with a butter knife and use loctite or several other super glue gel varieties to re-adhere.

If the clip is lost or damaged, replacement clips (2" barrette clips) can be purchased at most craft stores.

FOR WING HAIR CLIPS. leather can become dry and crack with age, to avoid this, (particularly in arid climates) simply buff surface with a leather conditioner, mink oil, lemon oil or a small amount of good quality olive oil. this will darken the surface of the leather slightly until the oil dries completely.

if the feathers flatten out you can easily reshape them. with a little oil on your hands, gently curl them to desired shape.
