Arrived quickly and very carefully packaged
My life has been dominated by vintage. I grew up in a house stocked to the cornice with Victoriana, raised by junk-loving parents who taught me to see the beauty in old things. Their teachings did not go unheeded and everything from my hobbies, wardrobe, home décor and vacations has been threaded through with antiques and vintage. Even most of my jobs have involved it!
Having collected most of my life, I've developed an 'eye' for it and learned much. Now as I prepare for a move to the UK, my eccentric possessions must be passed along to others. I relish the chance to 'clear the decks' and start again and really, I doubt this shop will close when I land on England's shores! So many wonderful antique fairs to explore...

I have a lay away system, typically it is 4 weeks with payments made weekly, a minimum purchase of $80 is required for lay away to apply and you can combine several listings in order to do so. The payment time can be extended if the value of the transaction is particularly high. Please contact me and I will do my best to help you; quotes and consultations are obligation free.
If your combined shipping is coming out a little on the high side, please convo me and I'll double check to see you're not over-charged.
Shipping times: All items sent out within 1-3 business days.
AUSTRALIANS: 3-5 business days
INTERNATIONAL: 7-10 business days (two weeks is around average)
Please allow a few extra days on top of this if you live outside a major city or a smaller country. Also please do allow for things like major holidays, weather problems and customs jams.
Please also be aware that if your country requires any customs fees or charges of any kind related to your item being processed, claimed or otherwise delivered to you, you are responsible for those payments.
If you paid for tracking (your shipping rate was $20+ or it was noted on the listing there will be registered/tracked post) there will be a tracking number on your 'purchases and reviews' page.
Australia Post does not offer tracking to all countries; in this case I will send via registered post. It doesn't give us tracking but we can locate it's last scanned location if it doesn't turn up. I haven't had to do this yet so it should be fine.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please make your choices carefully and study all the photos well- you can click on them to enlarge. Due to complications which can be encountered I cannot take returns unless the piece is significantly not as described. If you feel the item has been misrepresented, please let me know. In most cases returning the goods will be sufficient and if the fault is mine I will pay return shipping.
Any items which arrive damaged from their time in transit will be refunded either in part or whole depending on the damage. Contact me through Etsy's conversation system (NOT by email) with photographic proof of the damage and I will see to it straight away. Paypal's system requires that you send the damaged goods back to me before I refund; this is often expensive for you, so in most cases a photo will do, again depending on the damage.
If you return an item to me without my previous knowledge and acceptance you will be required to pay shipping to return the item to you.Likewise if I send an item and it comes back to me refused due to wrong address, failed deliveries etc.
ALL my customers are protected by Paypal or their credit card companies (depending on which payment system you used) so there's really nothing to worry about. There's plenty of protections in place and I'm a reasonable person- in my 10 years of selling online, no customer of mine has lost their money. :)

+ My home is smoke free, though some items may have a faint scent of incense smoke. Linens may have a 'storage scent' but they are all clean.
+ If there's anything particular you're looking for, feel free to ask! I've got a lot of stock as yet unlisted, a whole storage unit to chip through, and I can't seem to say 'no' to a poke around a junk shop or 5. :)
