5 out of 5 starsI purchased Chasewater to use in a fairy garden I am working on in my front yard. The house is absolutely incredible and more than surpassed my expectations. It is very well made and the attention to detail is impressive. Chasewater will be the centerpiece of my new garden and I would not hesitate to purchase items from this seller in the future.

On May 1st of 2010, I awoke at 3 am and was compelled to sit down and Google "fairy houses". I have no idea why. It just had to be done. I was dismayed by most of what I saw: houses made of glitter, glitz, bling, and lots of other things Fairies are not.
But I found a place to learn about real fairy houses. A master builder, John Crawford, taught me the secret: www.fairywoodland.com
Today, I help local Fairies make what I think are the most authentic fairy cottages possible. Then we (the Fae and I) write stories about them.
Fairy houses are not planned, designed, or shaped. At least not by me. (In fact, the Fae just howl with laughter at the idea.)
When I work with these materials, I cannot see what's happening since most of it happens under the sand. I just ask the Faries to take over and make something pleasing to them.
I work in a tiny studio perched on a cliff, at the bottom of a garden, overlooking a vast mountain range.
I am a writer of children and adult fairy stories. As usual, the Fae have a strong hand in it: www.fairycottages.com for more stories.
