About

art to inspire the soul

Faith Evans-Sills is a painter, wife, mother and teacher making her home in Charleston, South Carolina. To fulfill their dream of living and painting by the sea, Faith and her husband fell in love with the South Carolina coast and moved their family there in 2011, after 15 years in New York City. Today she paints in her sunny Charleston studio, sells her work both online and at Rosewater Gallery in Asheville, NC, while also teaching creative workshops & retreats around the US and Internationally. With over 20 years of personal painting experience she enjoys inspiring others to manifest their most heartfelt ideas through creating art. Her art has been exhibited widely, included in multiple publications and Faith is currently writing her first book on painting, due out May 2017 with North Light Press. Follow along on Instagram where she posts daily work and inspirations.

Faith lives with her husband and their three young children by the sea, where they enjoy exploring southern beaches and maintaining a close connection with nature through frequent trips to wild places. When not in the studio you’ll find her zipping around on her sea green bike, heading to the beach or farmers market with her family and constantly revamping their garden and home.

In her work she draws inspiration from nature, love, Asian art, textiles, fairy tales and most importantly the relationships that shape her.

"Through creating my art I seek to inspire hope, and manifest change and beauty. Using nature as a metaphor there are elements within each piece that speak to my soul. Have fun looking around my shop, my wish is that something will speak to your soul too. Grace and peace to you, Faith."

Shipping
Since I make most of my prints and cards as custom orders (meaning I print them especially for you once you place your order) Please allow 7 to 10 days for printing and shipping from the date that you place your order. I'm making it extra special just for you!

I always ship to your address listed with Etsy, please make sure that this is the address where you would like your items sent. If you would like your items sent to a different address you must specify this in a message or convo to me at the time of purchase.

All printed matter is sent through the US Postal Service. I only insure original paintings for shipping. You are welcome to ask me to insure or register your other items and I will update your invoice to reflect this in the shipping cost. All mail within the US is sent First Class.

All original artwork including paintings and drawings are automatically sent by registered mail, this is already reflected in the shipping prices.

When shipping internationally, the US Postal Service declares that it should take 2 - 5 working days, however there are occasions when it can take up to 2 weeks. If your item has not arrived after 2 weeks please let me know.
For international shipping, buyer is responsible for any extra import fees or tariffs.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with anything about your order please let me know immediately!
I try to ensure that printed matter is well protected. All prints are sent sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard, inside a cello sleeve and then packaged in an all-cardboard envelope.

On rare occasions it is still possible for items to become creased on their journey. Should this happen please convo or email me immediately. Similarly if items are lost in the mail please convo or email me. For international orders I usually ask you to wait 2 weeks before considering an item lost as customs can occasionally hold items up.

If printed items are lost/damaged in the mail:
If they are under $50 I will happily send them again although I will ask for the postage to be covered.

If they are over $50 I am unable to cover this cost which is why I would urge any customer buying a large amount of prints to request them to be registered.

If Original work becomes lost/damaged in the mail:
Please convo me immediately, all original work is sent by registered mail which means it is trackable and insured.
Additional policies and FAQs
At this time I am not taking orders for sizes different than those listed in my shop. Thank you for understanding.
