I was grown up in a large city, but I always loved life into the nature and tranquility; since I was a child I had an inclination to drawing and to everything that could be handmade; then, when I was 13 years old, my mother gave me a book about stone painting techniques….
….through highs and lows I always cultivated my passion for this peculiar technique, and finally a couple of years ago I moved from the city to Piedmont’s mountains and here I restarted painting at full speed.
Everything starts from a walk along a river, I carefully observe stones, trying to understand which animal is hiding in their shapes… I pick them up, bring at home, make a selection and carefully wash the rocks.
Thanks to the precious help of my husband, we cut the base of some stones, so that they could stand on their own; afterward they start coming alive between my hands, transforming into howls, small fishes, ladybugs, and into everything the imagination suggests me.
Nowadays my house is so full of rocks everywhere, both painted and not, that my husband calls me “The lady of the rocks”. I big thanks goes to him, the man of my life, who accepts all this so patiently!
My rocks had such a success between friends and relatives, that I decided to show to the world how many marvelous things it is possible to create, and so here I am!
