About FantasyCreations

Sales 1,006
On Etsy since 2008

Fantasy Creations began in a tiny giftshop in Portland in the 1980s

I first published some of my patterns in the 1980s and sold them through an ad in a craft magazine. Now Fantasy Creations has a presence on the internet both on eBay and on ETSY. I have sold hundreds of my patterns to people all over the world. It makes me happy to think that my designs are beings brought to life in the hands of loving mothers and grandmothers and bringing smiles to faces old and young. I no longer sell the finished stuffed animals. I sell the patterns so you can have the fun of making them yourself. I have lots more designs to release in the future. It takes time to write the careful step by step instructions in plain English and do the illustrations for them. I hope you'll check back for new designs as they become available. Blessings,

    Owner, Designer

I began designing stuffed animals in the 1970s and had a very small shop in the 1980s. I desined my own patterns and made handcrafted animals and took custom orders. I also did design work over the years for several businesses. Now I sell my patterns here on etsy so crafty folks can have the pleasure of bringing their own soft furry companions to life. There is a magic in making stuffed animals. The one who names the critter gives it life like the Velveteen Rabbit.

Shop policies

Welcome to my Fantasy Creations store on Etsy! I sell printed paper sewing patterns. I do not sell finished stuffed animals. None of my patterns are available as digital downloads because they will not fit on an 8.5" by 11" piece of paper. I use larger paper to print the patterns.

My business philisophy is to treat my customers like I like to be treated when I am buying things. I respond to convos, I ship very quickly once payment is completed, I provide excellent instructions with full sized patterns, and when customers order a pattern from me I include a free little rainbow ball pattern to make them smile. I designed the patterns.

Stuffed animal patterns can be mailed by First Class nearly anywhere in the world. I welcome international orders. I also sell some kits. The stuffing is not included.

This is a non-smoking household. We do love our cats. I also do not use perfumes and fragrances in my home for those who are perfume sensitive.

Returns and exchange details
I sell printed paper sewing patterns. If you wish to return an item please do so within 5 days of receipt.
US orders include delivery confirmation. If an order is lost in the mail and not delivered I will replace it after confirming it lost. If an order was confirmed as delivered by USPS and yet you never got it, contact me. I want my customers to be happy and return for more patterns. I can ship you another copy of the pattern.
International orders: Contact me if an order is lost or destroyed in transit. Because it can take a month to arrive in some places I will replace it only after 30 days have passed.
The customer is responsible to read listings carefully and examine the purchase when it arrives. The customer is responsible for return S&H and insurance costs. I will refund or exchange an item if the customer contacts me and it is returned to me uncut, in good condition, immediately. Prompt communication is important.
I accept Paypal and Etsy Direct (please set your Paypal preferences for immediate payment by credit card or debit card). E-checks are very problematic and take many days or even weeks to clear. I ship orders the business day after payment is completed. I print the address label through Paypal or Etsy so it is essential that your provided address is current and accurate.
I do not accept money orders.
I do not accept checks or take credit cards directly but Etsy can process credit cards.
I expect payment within 3 business days unless you contact me about a reason for a longer delay.
Because I am located in Oregon I do not charge any sales taxes.
If a customer needs to cancel a sale it is essential that they communicate with me right away.
The shipping method I use is United States Postal Service. I print the labels through Paypal or Etsy. Delivery confirmation for US customers is included in S&H. Patterns are shipped by First Class. Insurance is not included in S&H.

International Customs: patterns alone can be mailed First Class as printed matter. If eyes or fabric are included the customer must pay any customs fees. I will give the value accurately on the customs form. Be aware that customs can delay your order arriving, by as much as 4 weeks, although I ship very quickly.

Packing: My patterns are mailed in a ziplock bag in a sturdy envelope.
Additional policies and FAQs
I don't do gift wrapping. I only ship to the address of the buyer.
I offer combined order discounts on S&H. Convo me if you want several patterns and I can create a reserved combined listing with reduced S&H just for you.
I would be willing to discuss wholesale orders on my patterns. The minimum order for wholesale would be $100.
I don't do consignment, or loan out my work.
If you are a legitimate magazine representative you are welcome to convo me. I am interested in publishing and publicity.
Allergens: we are cat lovers but not smokers or fragrance users.
