Shop policies

Since I am a one-woman show, I am not able to maintain an inventory of handbags; it is very seldom that I will have an item in stock ready to ship. If this is the case, I will make note of it in the product name specifically indicating that the item is “ready to ship”. My goal is to process all orders as quickly as possible, I offer a seven day a week service, retuning customer inquires, creating handbags, and shipping orders. My normal window for order completion is 7-14 days, as soon as the bag is complete I will ship it that same day, there is no delay between processing and shipping. Once the order is shipped, I will send you an email notification with the ship date and tracking for US domestic orders. For some reason if there is a delay with your handbag, I will contact you via email to make you aware that I have your order and I am working on it.

If you need to rush or delay the shipment, please contact me and we can arrange a solution for you.

Handbag Measurements
Please note that due to the unique nature of a handmade handbag, there can be a slight variance between the measurements listed and the true measurements of the actual bag. Typically this variance is quite small possibly between ½ to 1 ½ inches.
If you need a bag for a specific usage such as for your laptop please contact me before purchasing and we can discuses the sizes.

Payment is due at the time the order is placed, once an order is placed via ETSY payment is expected via PayPal. Please note that PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and E-Checks. All of the payments are processed via PayPal, therefore I do not have access to any of the credit Information. If you have any questions in regards to the privacy or security policies of PayPal, please contact them directly.

PayPal payments are the only types of payments I accept. Please make note that I do NOT accept any other form of payment, including but not limited to personal checks, cashier checks or money orders.

Failure of Payment
If an order is placed and a payment is not submitted at the time of the order; I will follow-up with the buyer to remind them a payment was not received when the order was placed. If I do not hear back from the buyer or payment is not made within 24 hours, I will cancel the order.
Shipping
US Domestic Orders

For US Domestic orders, all items are shipped via the United States Postal Service with Priority Shipping, the shipping time has an average duration of 2-3 business days. Once your order is complete, we will send you an email notification with the shipment date and the tracking number. All items in one order can only be sent to one shipping address, if you need to have items shipped to multiple addresses, please order the items separately and indicate each specific shipping address. The shipping and handling fee for one item is $9.00; there is an added $3.00 fee for each additional item.

If you purchase one than one item in an order and require multiple shipping address, please contact me and we can arrange a solution for you.

Lost Packages

Priority Mail is used for all domestic shipping unless another method is requested and paid for by the buyer. With Priority Mail, all packages are tracked using the USPS postal tracking system. If a buyer would like to purchase insurance for the package, please contact us at the time of order and we can arrearage for the package to be insured for the dollar amount of the item; the buyer will be responsible for the additional cost of the insurance.

If a package was not received/loss however according the USPS postal tracking system the item was delivered; then Fantella Design is not held responsible for the missing/lost item.

International Orders

For International orders, all items are shipped via the United States Postal Service with First Class Shipping; the shipping time has an average 1-3 weeks depending upon the country. Once your order is complete, we will send you an email notification with the shipment date. The shipping and handling fee for one item is $15.00; there is an added $3.00 fee for each additional item.

As an example:
One item shipping outside of the US will be charged a shipping and handling fee of $15.00.
Two items shipping outside of the US will be charged a shipping and handling fee of $18.00.
Three items shipping outside of the US will be charged a shipping and handling fee of $21.00.
And so on….

If you purchase one than one item in an order and require multiple shipping address, please contact me and we can arrange a solution for you.
Refunds and Exchanges
Since each handbag is handmade, I do not accept returns. For some reason if you do not like the handbag, I do offer an exchange policy. However, you will need to contact me within 3 days of receiving your bag to begin the exchange process. The bag must be shipped back to me having a postmarked date within 5 days of the original receiving date. Also the bag must have NOT been used or show any signs of wear and tear. The exchange policy will allow you to choose a different handbag of equal or lesser value. To process with this request, you will need to return the handbag back to me at your own shipping expense. Once I receive the handbag I will begin making the new handbag of your choice. You will be charged a second shipping & handling fee for the new handbag. If you wanted to upgrade the handbag to a handbag of higher value, I will be happy to do so, and you can just pay the difference.

Exchanges will NOT be given for the following reasons:
The Handbag has been used.
The Handbag has been damaged.
The buyer has NOT contacted me within three days of the original receiving date to schedule an exchange.
The buyer has NOT returned the handbag within 5 days of the exchange request.

If you request a custom order all sales are final, I will not exchange a custom order.

Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders:

All of my handbags, I design and create myself, if you like one of my handbags, and you would like to customize it a little bit, please let me know and maybe I can make something special just for you. People in the past have asked me to add zippers, larger pockets or extra straps to their handbags, so if this is something you will be interested in please let me know. Typically for customer orders there is an up-charge based on the requested materials and the amount of time it will take for me customize a handbag for you. Please let me know if you are interested in this service.

Gift Wrapping:

We do offer free gift wrapping for any order, please let us know and I will be happy to gift wrap the box and include a card for you.

Tracking Packages:

All of our orders are shipping using the United States Post Office; all US domestic orders are shipped via Priority Mail. Once the order has shipped you will received a shipping confirmation email with the tacking number of the package.

Since International orders are shipped via the United States Post Office, once the package leaves the US it can no longer be tracked. Sorry, no tracking on International orders.
