Hi there!

I'm Diana.

I grew up going to flea markets with my parents, which meant waking up before dawn to head to the countryside in Pennsylvania to look for their favorite stuff: Gaudy Dutch, Lionel trains, you get the picture. My sister and I spent most of our time complaining and eating flea market food and wishing we were at a mall. It took a couple decades, but now we're hooked, too. I guess you can't get it out of the blood.

I was a magazine editor for a several years, working with awesome people at awesome titles—I was (briefly - three issues! but proud!) the beauty editor at NYLON and for a single amazing year wrote the City Guide for Lucky. I always said I was a "home person"—as opposed to a fashion person or a beauty person. I still can't really put on eyeliner, and my wardrobe is made up of way too much that would be more appropriate to wear to yoga than anywhere else, but I'm obsessed with furniture—everything from designers like Tord Boontje and Marcel Wanders to $1 plates at my favorite flea markets (like the Golden Nugget in Lambertville, NJ).

Now I travel for work all the time, and part of my routine is finding the sort of stuff I would have been proud to put "on my pages". I am so excited by the possibility that they might make someone's home even happier than it already is.

Please note: Most of my pieces are in the US - some are in France. I use a crazy-fast shipping method from France, so shipping from there can be even faster than from NJ. Please just ask if you'd like more details on this - I advise 10-14 days shipping on everything, though from either place it's frequently faster.

Like other Etsy sellers I will not be responsible for international customs and/or duties fees. Items will be accurately described on customs documents so as not to irritate any other countries.

If you would like to purchase more than one piece, please let me know and I am happy to recalculate your shipping costs. I don't want to charge you any more than the post office is going to charge me.

All of my pieces are described to the best of my knowledge — which is not absolute. I rely on vendors for information on the age, background, and materials involved in many of these pieces; my pricing is based less on provenance than on simple appeal. Caveat emptor.

With that in mind, I offer a no-questions-asked return policy — just let me know that you'd like to return something within 14 days of delivery.

Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

Service providers—in my case, this only means shipping services, like the post office or Fed Ex, and only for the purposes of delivering your package.
Compliance with laws. Frequently asked questions

Is this piece of enamelware water-tight?

Please do ask and I'm happy to look. For me, though, this isn't a big deal, because water should never go directly into a vintage enamelware container - it can cause rust. All of the flowers shown in all of my enamelware is in glasses, placed inside the vases, coffee pots, etc.

Can you verify the age of your products?

I rely on vendors to supply me with accurate information about the age of these pieces. For me, once the "vintage" border is crossed (Etsy defines "vintage" as over 30 years old), it doesn't much matter if a piece is from the 1940s or 1950s - there are some indications (including weight, materials, use, etc.), but it's hard to be 100% sure. I don't price pieces based on age - just on their unique visual attributes.

If this is a concern for you, know that I offer a 100% no-questions-asked return policy - just let me know within 14 days of delivery. I have on average one or two requests for a return every year and I've always honored them (and always will).

Can you get me this piece by X date?

Please ask! I would never want to be the reason a birthday or holiday present is late. Shipping is generally very fast, but if you have a special occasion in mind (or a photoshoot, or party), please let me know so I can be 100% sure we can make your deadline.

I see some of your products are shipped from France — will I have to pay customs?

Customs are the responsibility of the buyer. That said: For buyers in the U.S., none of the pieces currently offered would incur customs fees, which start at higher price points. Of our 400+ sales to the U.S., no buyer has ever paid customs duties. If you're at all concerned, please ask!
