I'm a Border Leicester breeder, so naturally I love the drawing on these cards. Also great service as I ordered several boxes and she reduced the shipping charges.

About

Urban Farmgirl

Once upon a time...their was a little girl who made fairy hats and dressed her dog in her creations! Fast forward to young adult designing vintage accessories for collectible teddy bears...( I know it was a phase, it was the 80's after all -:) Storefront on main street, single Mom with two little ones. I had a studio set right into my eclectic vintage store...where I did everything from refinishing furniture to sewing copious amounts of vintage fabric pillows and accessories!

Moves to farm with new husband. Became Mom to 75 sheep and angora goats, learned how to spin...fell in love with the natural basic...from lovingly cared for animal to beautiful useful skein of yarn. All the while building upon my love of vintage and new textiles.

As times have changed since I opened my etsy store in 2007...so has my focus. I am still in love with my spinning and the vintage textiles...but in my search for the textiles and vintage items to sell on ebay, Yes been selling on ebay since 1998, I realized that their are so many clothes that are donated to thrift stores and wouldn't it be wonderful to reclaim, upcycle those items into something handcrafted.

Full circle to how I started as a child....taking something cast off or in its natural form, fleece, and creating a cherished handcrafted item of beauty.
