Disappointed and angry. I bought these bowls as a gift for a new puppy and the edges of them are very rough. I wrote an email to the seller and got no response. $80 plus dollars down the drain. Never again.

About

Pottery Handmade for Your Everyday Enjoyment

After being at home with my two daughters for many years, spending much of my time involved with their activities and sports, I began some soul searching, trying to think of a career choice that I would personally love while still having a flexible schedule for my family activities. I had said for many years that “I still don’t know what I wanna be when I grow up.”

I've been drawn to the warmth and usefulness of pottery for many years, and I love that it is such a hands on craft. I finally had the opportunity to learn to make ceramics and to set up my own studio in 2011, and it has been a very rewarding experience.

Our family keeps many types of tree frogs and dart frogs and also has dogs--The frogs are where my shop name comes from! Our biggest frog is nicknamed "Fatty Frog"... The dogs, my Potter's hounds, keep me company while I'm working!

A favorite quote of mine is: "It's never too late to be who you might have been" ~ George Eliot.

I love making lovely things out of MUD!! It amazes me that you can take clay, bake it a couple of times and the prettiest, most useful things are the result! I hope my pieces bring you as much joy as creating them brings me...Happy shopping!!

Hello, and thank you for shopping with Fattty Frog Pots! I began creating pottery relatively recently after years of admiring the beauty and usefulness of pottery pieces. The art form has intrigued me for decades, and I finally was able to learn how to do it myself with the help of several talented instructors and also the wonderful resource that is YouTube... I sincerely hope that you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. I am experimenting with new ideas and processes all of the time, so keep an eye on my inventory for new things! Please remember that all items are handmade and one of a kind. Sets will have similar items, but may have some variation between items.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I currently accept payment through:

1. PayPal
2. Credit Card Direct Checkout (Visa, MC, AMEX, Discover)
Shipping
Because pottery is weighty and fragile, it requires extra packaging (bubble wrap, filler material) to adequately protect it during transit. As a result, shipping costs are significantly higher than for other, less fragile, items.

I use USPS - Standard Post. Please convo me if you would like me to use a different or faster service. I currently do not ship internationally, as typically the cost of shipping heavy pottery is very high, making a purchase unattractive to most customers. I will be happy to quote shipping on an item to your location if you would like to send me a request through Etsy Convo.

I often recycle boxes and packaging material, so if your purchase is for a gift and you would like a nicer, unused box, please let me know. [Note that mine is a nonsmoking household.]

Also, if your item is a gift, and you do not want an invoice enclosed in the package, as I normally do, let me know. I will also enclose a gift card from you upon request.

I will ship to the address provided by Etsy. Please email me with shipping instructions if you want it sent to a different address.
Refunds and Exchanges
I make every effort to properly package the pottery to avoid breakage. Please contact me if the item(s) arrive damaged and I will make arrangement for the appropriate replacement or refund.( For insurance purposes, photos of damage work may be needed.)

I want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact me so that we may rectify the situation. If you wish to return the product, please convo me within 10 days with your intention to return it. Once I receive the item(s) undamaged, I will issue a refund for the cost of the item.

Items given as gifts are only eligible for a refund or exchange to the original purchaser.

Shipping costs, to and from, are not refundable. Return shipments must be sent insured. Items should be returned no later than 15 days after purchase for a full refund. A 50% refund will be issued if items are returned 30 days after purchase (to compensate for having had the items out of the shop for that period of time). I am sorry, but I cannot refund items that are not returned to me within 30 days.
