4 out of 5 starsTiles arrived in good order and timely and the colors are great! The order info is a bit confusing--$10 per set pictured, but then you are allowed to choose only warm or cool colors and the price is $13.

Handmade tile for Craftsman and modern homes
I make my living by making Tile for peoples homes. I've been making handmade tiles and Welcome signs since 2000. I live in the country with lots of trees and wildlife. I'm a self-taught artist with a background in figurative sculpture. I changed to tile making when I made tile for my own kitchen.
Since I love the old Craftsman Bungalows, I decided to make my tiles just for them. I developed a line of tiles that combines woodland images with a Arts & Crafts style. I also make 3D geometric tiles suited for Prairie style homes and shaped and textured tile for more modern eclectic tastes. My tiles are designed for fireplaces, kitchens and baths.
I like to keep it small and Low-Tech.
I sculpt the original tiles and then make plaster molds so that I can reproduce them. I hand press the clay in the molds. When the tiles are dry I fire them, glaze them (with a brush) and fire them again. I don't use any machines in my tile making except my kilns.
When I pack up my tiles to ship I use mostly recycled packing materials. In 2016 I decided to switch to Local clay and American made glazes.
I love to hear about your projects! People are happy and surprised with the level of customer service I provide. It's easy for me because I actually care what happens to my tiles. I won't be around forever, but knowing that my tiles are installed in homes gives me a little feeling of immortality. The best thing about keeping it small, is the happy emails, calls and letters that I get from my customers. I don't think this would happen if I had "grown my business". People are really happy with my tiles! It's a good feeling.
