Since its opening in March of 2006, Substance for Fashion Conscious People has built a following in the community and an impressive customer base of discerning individuals. We accomplished this by working in line with our company mission to stay on a purposeful path to design.

Our purposeful path means building long lasting, relevant value into product we create by always drawing our design inspiration from our customers. It means we continue giving back a percentage of every sale to education for children in the US.

Substance for Fashion Conscious People is growing green. We consistently repurpose and re-design surplus fabric from discontinued styles into one of a kind collection pieces that we unveil monthly. We also sell more product from a growing new crop of other eco-conscious designers. We have committed to adopting new environmentally responsible operating guidelines in accordance with our recent acceptance into the
Columbus Green Spot program.

We love the creative process and we love sharing it with our customers. Our passions lie in this business and it shows.

With that said, we are pleased to include you in the next stage of our business. We will be expanding nationally and have interest in Cincinnati, Ohio, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia for the first phase of our expansion. We have been working with a consulting firm for now for just over 2 years and have concluded that Substance is a replicable and sustainable business model.
