Wearable art inspired by nature
I've been drawing and gluing my fingers together ever since I was a little girl, so starting an Etsy shop was a totally natural progression for me. I love my day job as a Discovery Channel producer, but sometimes I crave a more tactile creative outlet and Featherbrain allows me to do just that.
Why feathers? Feathers are timeless; a gorgeous way to connect to nature and boost your wardrobe. With Featherbrain, I've worked to create a variety of accessories that will compliment any kind of style. Embrace a bohemian vibe with a dangly extension, rock an edgy look with a spiky cuff, or add a subtle touch of whimsy with a romantic pair of earrings. Whatever the occasion, these feathered finds are guaranteed to turn heads.
Each item is inspired by a musician that I adore. Have fun guessing the artists!

Returns and exchanges
All sales are final. If an item appears to be damaged upon arrival, please contact me immediately so I can repair it. My products are built with great care and attention to detail, but due to the delicate nature of my materials, I recommend you keep your Featherbrain items out of reach of known feather hazards and destructive forces (i.e. cats and babies).
Payment
I accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and Etsy gift cards. Items will ship after payment has been cleared. If you're having trouble processing your payment, please contact me and I'll be happy to guide you through the billing process.
Shipping
I ship via USPS first class mail to the address on the Etsy receipt. If you need me to ship to a different address, please let me know in the "notes to seller" section of the invoice. Please contact me if you wish to purchase additional insurance. All items are carefully packaged inside a box to protect against damage. Please note: the shipping fee includes the cost of the materials used to package and ship your item.
--DOMESTIC SHIPPING--
All domestic items are shipped via USPS first class mail (2-5 days) with tracking.
--INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING--
International orders are shipped via USPS first class mail. Packages will normally take 1-2 weeks to arrive, but occasional delays may occur with customs. All taxes, customs, duties and fees charged for international orders are the responsibility of the buyer. For additional information, please refer to your local customs agency.
--RUSH SHIPPING--
Expedited shipping options (USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail) are available for both domestic and international orders -- please contact me for estimates. Please also let me know if you have a specific deadline or questions about estimated delivery dates.

Totally happy to create custom orders! Different types of hair clips, varying lengths of extensions, special hardware for sensitive ears, and various feather colors are available. Convo me for questions, or go ahead and select the "request custom order" button on the shop homepage.
