fede[ fee-dee ] faith, belief, trust
A sustainable range of playful fabric creations made in Adelaide by Interior Designer Fee Dyer. The brand is exclusively made from her eclectic collection of vintage, upcycled and remnant materials mixed with a dash of whimsy.
How it all began.
While on maternity leave in 2007 with her second child, Fee was gifted her Mum's vintage Bernina Sewing Machine. With a need to be creative (for her own mental health) she began experimenting using sample fabrics collected from her years of working in Interior Design. This eventually resulted in the first Hammer Baby Rattle protoype which was put to test by her then 3 and 18 month old inhouse assistants.
The Evolution.
In 2017 Fee's third & youngest child started school. This now enabled her to expand the brand. The Guitar Pillows came first followed shortly after by the release of kids Blanket Vests, Reversible Tunics and then by demand, adult capes. The signature upcycled and vintage fabrics remain prominently featured in all the designs and the continue to be beautifully hand crafted one piece at a time.
