About

Origin of the Species

The years was 2004. I had been making tiny drawings of monsters (about 1 inch square) and was looking for ways to expand into other media. A friend suggested I transform the drawings into polymer clay sculptures. I hadn't really worked with polymer clay before, but I had grown up playing with ceramic clay in my grandmother's ceramics shop, so it wasn't much of a stretch. I set about making my first batch of polymer clay monster sculptures, which I decided to call Feeping Creatures based on a suggestion from a friend. I then took them to a local science fiction convention, they sold surprisingly well, and I was hooked! I have been inflicting monsters on the world ever since.
