5 out of 5 starsLove, Love, Love this ring! The design is so beautifully whimsical. The bronze color is gorgeous. The material is solid, without being heavy. The ability to have the ring adjust to fit any finger on either hand is a super --plus it provides a snug, but comfortable fit. Literally five days from the evening that I ordered the ring, I received it--from all the way across the United States--excellent customer service.

Cara's yard with two herons! Which one is the statue???
The History of Cara Stimmel and her vintage assemblage designs.
Cara Stimmel was born during an era of innovation, at a time when grand craftsmanship and intricate artisan work had fallen by the wayside. Growing up in the bedroom community of Queens, surrounded by her parents' social circle of artists, writers, and decorators, Cara's imagination was sculpted with encouragement for free thinking and self-expression. This exposure to master craftsmen and great art created the foundation for her unique aesthetic, not only in her jewelry design, but in all aspects of her life.
In 1987, Cara opened her first factory, Cara Stimmel, LTD., to produce larger quantities of her jewelry. She sold her line to department and specialty stores world wide, producing it all in house. After decades of adhering to dictated trends and the hectic schedules of Fashion Week, Cara decided to take a fresh approach to her jewelry, and Fern Street Designs by Cara Stimmel was born. A more organic, free form collection, created by hand, with intricate vintage parts collaged together is what Cara refers to as "assemblage." Reusing and recycling come naturally to her, so she utilizes found objects, highlighting them as the jewels in her pieces. Manipulating abstract parts into different entities produced the Steampunk vibe present in many of her creations.

If any part of your piece gets broken or no longer functions, (the clasps/chain/etc), please ship it back to me and I will fix it free of charge. All I ask is for you to pay shipping to my address, and I’ll fix it and send it back to you. If there is something wrong with the focal antique or vintage piece, I can’t fix that—these are antique pieces and I doubt I’ll be able to find many of these again. Essentially, I’m offering a guarantee for my craftsmanship.
