2 out of 5 starsLet me start out by saying I usually do not leave poor reviews. I just don't review an item I am not happy with. The vest is made from lovely material, and the maker has a good eye for color.
That being said, I received this vest in damaged condition.(One of the loops for lacing was pulled out which I noticed when I put it on.) When I contacted the seller asking for a partial refund I was told if I wanted to buy something else from her she could give me a 20% discount for future purchases. Since I am not interested in purchasing another item from this seller this is not a solution. Luckily I am able to repair it myself but now, after wearing it 3 times, several of the loops are failing and will need to be replaced. Very disappointing for the price I paid.FeverLeaf responded on Oct 10, 2015
This is the first time I have received a negative review, both online and selling though my little shop in Somerset, UK and at markets. I have never had anything other than excellent feedback about the high quality of my designs. I have asked Greer to send me some photographs of the damage/problems with the waistcoat, and offered to pay a full refund, including postage, if she posts it back to me so I can see the damage she claims, and repair it to have in my shop again. I have not heard back from her for several weeks now. This waistcoat is a size UK8, and the only reason I can imagine that the lacing loops could have pulled out is that the customer may have accidentally bought the wrong size. I work hard to produce high quality products and do offer a bespoke service to make my garments in any size.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely gorgeous! This has to be the best waistcoat I've ever had, superb materials and really well made, easy to adjust with the ribbon ties and the lining pattern is so pretty and unusual. I can't wait to get another one in a different colour. Arrived really quickly along with the Luna feather charm I ordered, so I was very happy indeed!

5 out of 5 starsThis a beautiful, striking feather charm, which Freya was very helpful at modifying to put on a silk ribbon as I wanted it for a handbag decoration. I love how it looks and it was very quick to arrive too!
About FeverLeaf
Welcome to Feverleaf! Unique festival-esque finery…As seen in Vogue!
Feverleaf Boutique was born in September 2013, when I took on a studio shop space in Frome, Somerset, UK. Everything you see here is made by hand by me in my little studio.
Much of my clothing has a festival feel to it- pixie hoods, corset-style lacings, suede and jersey combinations, and ruffley burlesque skirts. I also make macramé jewellery- a knotting technique creating complex patterns, and feather-wear- head-dresses, feather hair braids and earrings.
This Summer we did our first proper festival stall, and one of my pixie waistcoats was snapped by Vogue! See the story here:
http://www.vogue.co.uk/spy/street-chic/2014/wilderness/gallery/1219318
I design and make everything myself from scratch, and I also use a lot of reclaimed fabrics- bits and pieces I pick up from jumble sales and charity shops, or vintage fabric remnants donated to me to be upcycled into beautiful new garments. This means that most of my items are completely unique one-offs, so no-one will ever have an item quite like yours :)
I work really hard to ensure that my items are of really beautiful quality, and my prices reflect that. Some pieces take me more than a whole day's work to make! I love working with my hands and getting lost in the creative process, and I ams so grateful to be able to do this for a living.
If you have any questions please do get in contact. I love to chat about my work, potential commissions or new ideas :)
