Hi! I'm Lise Cat (Lise Catherine to my mom). I'm a puppet for my Rabbit to create things through. Though I mainly do watercolor paintings and illustrations, I also play with acrylics and mixed media on canvas.
I've been a full-time professional artist since 1998. Along the way I've played with pottery, jewelry, fused and stained glass, and textiles... and pretty much anything else I could make pretty. ;) I also illustrated a children's book, Sammy's Broken Leg and the Amazing Cast That Fixed It.
I create at home and in a separate little turquoise-floored studio - otherwise everything would have cat fur and paw prints from the seven rescue cats my husband and I have. My life would be perfect if only I had a long, furry tail.
